Canal Fulton is a city in Stark County, Ohio. The population was 5,479 at the 2010 census. Tourism has become a major factor in Canal Fulton’s commercial life, with its many quaint shops lining Canal Street. Canal Fulton’s Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historical Places, has over eighty sites including buildings and homes. Canal Fulton is also the home of the St. Helena III, one of only four Canal Boats operating in Ohio. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.32 square miles, of which 3.26 square miles is land and 0.06 square miles is water.
