The Village of Dalton is located in Wayne County, Ohio. The 2010 census indicated a population of 1,830. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.51 square miles, all of it land. Dalton is conveniently located near many Amish tourist attractions. The Sippo Valley Trail begins in Dalton and runs 2.5 miles and into Stark County for another 6.5 miles.
